Abstract

This video explains the concept of principled negotiation, a framework for negotiation originally developed by Fisher, Ury, & Patton (1991), which focuses on understanding each parties interests as opposed to position in the deal. It is part of the Introduction to Negotiations lesson in the Module 1: Foundations the curriculum developed for the ONEAL project (Open Negotiation Education for Academic Libraries).
