dc.description.abstractThe library at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis introduced a pro-active chat widget to the website in Fall 2022 in order to increase interactions with patrons through the chat service. This article discusses the success of this change and how to implement this kind of chat widget on other library websites.
