dc.description.abstract | How can today’s nonprofits address their past harmful actions to minorities and other vulnerable groups? This paper will present and analyze one method nonprofits can use to address this history: radical transparency. This paper will present a historical transparency project at IUPUI to address our racist history, placing it within existing public history work around radical transparency as a method of social repair, comparing to current trends in financial and governance transparency in nonprofits, and ultimately showing a broader concept of public transparency within the nonprofit sector as a valuable tool for social justice. | en_US |
