Governance in the commons: Dealing with research data

Abstract

This presentation will describe data governance structure and processes within the Indiana University system. We will dive into the specific challenges related to governing research data, first by exploring how shifts in research culture have influenced the institution’s role in data stewardship. Then, we will discuss opportunities to collaborate in raising awareness, develop training, and sustain meaningful conversations about data governance and stewardship.
