Item IEL Student Demographics and Retention Report AY 2023-2024 and Summer 2024(2025-02-28) Hahn, ThomasThe Institute for Engaged Learning (IEL) at Indiana University Indianapolis is home to multiple engaged learning opportunities in undergraduate research, leadership, civic engagement, and ePortfolio. This report details demographics, school of enrollment, GPA, and retention figures for students who participated in IEL programs in AY 2023-2024 and Summer 2024.Item Spring 2024 Bonner Leader Scholars Assessment Report(2024-09-12) Hahn, ThomasThis report provides the results of the end-of-year questionnaire to Bonner Leader Scholars for AY 2023-2024. The Bonner Scholars Program is a service-based scholarship program. Scholars support a variety of community organizations and pursue their interest in social issues such as food insecurity, community development, education, and sustainability. Scholars participate in trainings aimed to develop them personally and professionally, leadership opportunities through facilitating campus-wide service events, and opportunities through the Bonner Foundation to travel and engage with like-minded students. This report is an indirect assessment, based on a confidential questionnaire administered to the students in April 2023. It captures students’ perceptions of their knowledge and skills, as well as their satisfaction with various program components. Additionally, students had the opportunity to respond to open-ended questions and offer their suggestions for program improvement.Item Spring 2024 Community Engagement Associates (CEA) Program Questionnaire Report(2024-07-18) Hahn, ThomasThis report provides the results of the end-of-year questionnaire to students participating in the Community Engagement Associates (CEA) Scholarship Program for AY 2023-2024. The CEA program is an employment program in which community engaged faculty and staff apply for funding to employ students to provide support for courses, programs, or projects that advance the community engagement mission of IUPUI.Item Spring 2024 Direct Assessment of IU Indianapolis Profiles(2024-08-26) Hahn, ThomasThis report describes a direct assessment activity within the IU Indianapolis Institute for Engaged Learning (IEL) for students participating in IEL programs during AY 2023-2024. The IEL Assessment Workgroup assessed written reflection artifacts of 80 students from 6 co-curricular programs. Using selected rows from the Integrative Learning, Civic Engagement, and Problem Solving AAC&U VALUE Rubrics, the raters assessed the Community Contributor, Problem Solver, and Innovator Profiles of Learning for Undergraduate Success.
