Major topics covered include setting up an account, installing the Google Analytics Tracking Code, and creating filters and profiles. Learn how to navigate the Google Analytics interface and interpret metrics and reports to understand website usage patterns, visitor characteristics, and sources of site traffic. More advanced features, such as tracking outbound links, document downloads (.doc, .pdf, etc.), and social engagement are also covered. Emphasis is placed on establishing goals and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to generate actionable insights and strategies for website improvement.en_US
