dc.description.abstractIn 2001 the Indiana University School of Library and Information Science (SLIS) revised its curriculum for the Master of Library Science Degree. The employers of SLIS students, SLIS alumni, and the faculty members and students who participated in the curriculum review agreed that, even at the dawn of the 21st century, any student planning to call himself or herself a librarian would need to take a course in reference sources and services.en
