Abstract

This Article offers original data on mediation in a set of Indiana divorces and is situated within the literature on mediation. Part I begins by reviewing the literature on mediation and its effectiveness. Part II surveys the Indiana family law defaults against which the mediations in this study occur. Finally, Part III presents and examines empirical data on mediation outcomes in a small set of divorce cases from Marion County, Indiana.
