dc.description.abstractClinical care and research around cancer cachexia in children is lacking. Cachexia increases treatment-related toxicity and long-term morbidity and potentially affects mortality. We highlight the urgent need for specific focus on childhood cancer cachexia and discuss potential solutions to inform cachexia therapeutics for children.
