The Lake Institute on Faith & Giving at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University and the Alban Institute have collaborated to assess the challenges congregations have faced over the past two years and to provide information that will help inform changes in current practices. First, we present how the current economic recession has affected congregations’ fundraising activities in 2008 compared to 2007.en_US
