Abstract

Employees' mental and physical problems require appropriate responses from the library manager. Familiarity with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act is legally essential. The authors offer guidelines on the applications of each act in relation to the other two.
