The South African philanthropic sector is no exception to these global dynamics in play as philanthropic organizations and groups have adapted to technological progress at an accelerated speed never imagined before. Many daily activities and tasks are blended to include both onsite and offsite settings. The hybrid setup, although not a novel concept, has grown to dictate most of business and human interactions. In South Africa, the efforts of resource mobilization for various needs by philanthropic organizations have immensely benefited from this hybrid approach. In this country report, we take an exclusive look at these emerging trends in South Africa, with keen attention to the developments of new ways of giving during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.Item Kenya.
