My translational research involves developing tools to assess speech perception and language skills during infancy. Language assessment during infancy helps identify children who are at risk for language disorders so that they can receive appropriate intervention as soon as possible. It also allows speech-language pathologists and other clinicians evaluate the success of their therapy and intervention strategies.en_US
