Abstract
The research aimed to assess the impact of HANDS Intensive Trainings across diverse demographics using Autism Knowledge Survey-Revised (AKS-R) scores. The study involved educators from various counties, focusing on enhancing their understanding and preparedness in handling individuals with ASD. Data was collected before and after the training sessions to measure improvements in teaching efficacy. The findings indicated a significant increase in educator efficacy, particularly among younger educators (ages 21-40), with a balanced benefit observed across genders. The analysis also revealed variable impacts across different counties, suggesting the influence of external factors. The study highlighted the importance of professional and ethical competencies, collaborative planning, and the use of data management tools like REDCap and Excel in improving educational outcomes for individuals with ASD.
