dc.description.abstract | Readers outside of Indiana or librarians who received their degrees from outside the state may not know that the Indiana University - Bloomington School of Library and Information Science is commonly referred to as "SLIS." SLIS students at both the Bloomington campus and IUPUI in Indianapolis have an opportunity to take a course entitled, "Education of Information Users." The Summer I 2006 section of this course was taught by the editor of this special issue. The last project of the course was to develop a portfolio around a library, instructional, educational, or technological issue, or take an issue and approach it from the information literacy/educational standpoint, and provide a combination of tutorial, web site and article links. | en |
