dc.description.abstract | The legislation of Georgia stipulates two basic categories of legal entities—nonprofit legal entity and profit oriented legal entity. The legal form of a non-entrepreneurial (noncommercial) legal entity (NELE) comprises non-entrepreneurial, public, or civil organizations, including but not limited to: CSOs, NGO, PBO, charity organizations, etc. Unregistered groups are treated as unregistered unions (UU), and are not considered legal entities. NELEs have a separate legal personality from their founders and are considered a legal person. | en_US |
