Collaboration provides many opportunities and benefits to partners in library research, as well as to the library profession and literature. Through the application of diverse but complementary perspectives and skills, each partner plays an important role and makes a unique contribution to the whole enterprise. Research collaboration is a relationship and a process in which two or more persons work together to produce new knowledge. Ideally, each party contributes in various unique ways to the endeavor.en
