Abstract

The study presents an extensive discussion on the significance of the new Saudi arbitration and enforcement laws in the arbitral proceedings, arbitral awards, and the technical rules that govern proceedings as set forth in the new arbitration law and provides a comparative analysis to international commercial arbitration practice. On the other hand, the study addresses the challenges encountered in reinforcing Saudi commercial arbitration law in the global community. Finally, there are recommendations for practical movement toward developing the Saudi commercial arbitration law and significant proposals to improve the legal environment in the Kingdom.
