Abstract

The strategy of this Article is to convict current legal practices of self-contradiction, leaving unresolved for the moment how to remedy such self-contradiction. Exposing this basic self-contra- diction will absorb most of the remainder of the Article. While it is easy to show abstractly the self-contradiction in current legal practices regard- ing moral responsibility, this Article will also attempt to show the very real ramifications of this self-contradiction.
