dc.description.abstractChanges in fat distribution has been observed in patients on highly active antiretroviral therapy. The frequently reported drugs that cause fat redistribution are stavudine and protease inhibitors. Stavudine also causes a high incidence of metabolic complications and peripheral neuropathy.en
