dc.description.abstract | All organizations operating under Law 70 must pursue development and social welfare objectives and must align their work with the state’s development priorities. Under Egypt’s prior law governing philanthropic organizations, Law 84 of 2002, many human rights and advocacy organizations registered as civil companies in order to avoid the restrictions of Law 84. Law 70 requires all organizations that do civil work, including human rights organizations, to register under the law. | en_US |
