dc.description.abstract | Embedded communication techniques within an image have be-come increasingly important in the area of digital communication. Such techniques include: steganography, covert channels, anonymity, and copyright marking. The focus of this research is developing a se-ries of experiments with an applied technique of steganography knowledge in order to protect the information being hidden through the image. This technique allows this stealth-like communication be confidential such that only those that possess authentication can read or interpret the data behind the image. In order for this authentication to work a user is granted a key, which allows the decoding of the data scattered around the different pixels of the image. Short-term goals of this project include setting different parameters of the location of the message such as fixed places of the data and fixed number of pixels. Long-term goals is to implement a smartphone communication sys-tem that utilizes this technique being developed in order to enhance this type of stealth-like communication. | en_US |
