Item Behavioral and Mental Health Professionals 2004 and 2006 Re-Licensure Survey Report(2010-05) Zollinger, Terrell W.; Kochhar, Komal; West, Jessica M.; Varma, Ram A.The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) and the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (IPLA) collaborated in implementing the 2004 and 2006 Indiana mental health professional re-licensure surveys. All behavioral and mental health professionals who renewed their license electronically during the 2004 and 2006 re-licensure periods under the Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board were asked to complete an electronic survey instrument. The mental health workforce in Indiana is composed of social workers, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, and psychiatric/mental health advanced practice nurses. The data summarized here were collected during biennial license renewals in 2012 and 2013, and in a 2014 survey of psychiatric nurses.Item Indiana Mental Health Professionals 2010 Re-Licensure Survey Report(2012-01) Lewis, Cynthia K.; Sheff, Zachary T.; Richard, Amy E.; Brandt, Amy J.; Zollinger, Terrell W.The 2010 Indiana Mental Health Professionals Re-Licensure Survey, the 2010 Clinical Psychologists Re-Licensure Survey, and the 2011 Physician Re-Licensure Survey were administered by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency under a contract with the Indiana State Department of Health. The 2011 Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse Survey was administered by the Indiana Nursing Association. This report summarizes the responses to these four surveys. The purpose of this report is to provide a comprehensive description of the mental health workforce in Indiana.
