Evaluating the factors influencing HANDS ECHO participant feasibility and enthusiasm for implementing evidence-based strategies across diverse settings
(2024-05) Mrudhula, Thumu; Neal, Tiffany; Gottipati, Mounika; Swiezy, Naomi
This research aimed to understand factors influencing the perception of feasibility and enthusiasm in implementing evidence-based strategies for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Initially, survey optimization was performed by reviewing survey questions, identifying and removing duplicates to enhance data quality and survey efficiency. Data was collected before and after the HANDS Developmental Disabilities and Autism ECHO sessions and responses were mapped using R programming for deeper analytical insights. Qualitative analysis was conducted to interpret interview data, providing valuable insights into educational processes. Analysis of Evidence-Based Practice Attitude Scale (EBPAS) responses indicated variability in attitudes towards evidence-based practices, with notable differences between pre-phase and post-phase scores.
