Child Protection Programs Timeline

Abstract

This timeline summarizes key activities of the IU School of Medicine Child Protection Programs. Many of these efforts are internal to the program and most reflect a leadership role in the development of community programs and strategies to better serve children and families. The vast majority of these programs continue to date under the Child Protection Programs; some have been handed off to state and county organizations to lead once firmly established. The Child Protection Programs aim to improve knowledge communication and coordination of services when child maltreatment is suspected.
