Abstract

This project aimed at analyzing behavioral changes in individuals with developmental disabilities over time, utilizing the Aberrant Behavior Checklist (ABC). Data were collected at six timepoints ranging from pre-admission to 12 months post-discharge. The analysis focused on five key behavioral subscales: irritability, social withdrawal, stereotypic behavior, hyperactivity/noncompliance, and inappropriate speech. Results indicated the greatest improvements in stereotypic behavior and irritability, while social withdrawal and inappropriate speech showed only modest progress, suggesting a need for more targeted interventions. Power BI was employed to clean, visualize, and track behavioral trends, facilitating data-driven insights and recommendations for enhancing intervention strategies. The findings highlight the importance of flexible, individualized support plans in optimizing behavioral outcomes.
