State of Aging Report

Older adults (age 55 and up) are the fastest-growing group in Central Indiana. To better support this aging population, the Central Indiana Senior Fund works with The Polis Center and its research partners to publish this bi-annual report on their needs and challenges. This study assesses and reports the needs, disparities, and emerging issues related to the growing older adult population in Central Indiana. The effort also features research briefs into critical issues facing older adults, community forums, and an online information portal. The goal is to provide actionable information and inspire community leaders, decision-makers, senior-serving organizations, and philanthropic organizations to envision potential programs, funding, and policies that will help Central Indiana seniors have equal opportunity for a healthy, dignified, and enjoyable life.
