To keep current with the latest trends in competencies and tools needed to conduct data curation activities, this research conducted a systematic literature review of literature that captures competencies and tools to build a framework of current trends in data curation work that educators can utilize to ensure up-to-date educational materials for the next generation of data curation professionals.
