2020-12-172020-12-172020-12https://hdl.handle.net/1805/24675In the United Arab Emirates (UAE), there is no central source of data on private philanthropy because of the seven emirates that constitute the UAE as well as government and various emirate-level regulations. In the 2016 Annual Foreign Aid Report, aid was divided between government funding and private sector contribution (UAE AID, 2016). The government encourages corporate social responsibility and giving. At the federal level there is an emphasis on working with the private sector where possible.
