This Synopsis highlights recent methodologies mediated by pyridine N-oxy radicals in developing (1) pyridine N-oxide-based hydrogen atom transfer catalysts for C(sp3)-H functionalizations and (2) β-oxyvinyl radical-mediated cascade reactions.
